The 2012 Louisville Kentucky St. Patrick's Day Parade! Only the greatest parade of ALL TIME! Always the Saturday BEFORE St. Patrick's Day.....Saturday, March 10, 2012 TIMES: Parade begins at 3pm and continues until 5pm when Baxter Ave and Bardstown Road reopen. Following the parade, The After Parade Party and Trophy presentation will be held in the tent behind O'Shea's Irish Pub on Baxter Ave and begins at 5pm. Music will be provided by Eight Inch Elvis the same band that preformed at last years After Party. ROUTE & TRAFFIC DETAILS: Streets close down and the parade begins at 3:00pm at the corner of Broadway & Baxter. Floats/Units continue down Baxter to Bardstown Road. The Parade ends at Mid City Mall (Longest Ave.). Streets re-open around 5:00pm.
