The St Patrick's Day Committee are at the advanced stage of planning a weekend 'TradFest' in conjunction with our National Holiday St Patrick's Day on 16th & 17th March 2013. The Parade commences at 2pm sharp. It follows the usual route - Johns Street, Rose Inn Street, The Parade, High Street and finishing in the market yard At the heart of these St. Patrick's Day celebrations, is of course, our annual parade, taking place on Sunday 17th at 2pm. As ever, we invite local community groups and organisations, as well as clubs, schools and businesses to take part in what is always a fantastic day of celebration and entertainment. As this is the year of "The Gathering" the theme for the 2013 parade is based around this idea - celebrating all that is great about Ireland and the Irish, at home and across the world.
