Saturday, March 17, 2012 1:00 pm The Hoosick Falls New York St Patrick's Parade and Irish Fest will celebrate its 21th Anniversary on March 17th, 2012. Eighteen years ago, local Irishmen Mike Conway and TJ Carmody wanted to find a way to keep the Irish Culture and history alive in the Hoosick area, and decided that a parade was the ticket! The day begins at 1:00 PM with over 40 Marching Units and Floats and is followed by the Irish Fest. Parade will begin in Wood Park, Down Main, John, Church St, Willard and Back down Main. The Parade and Irish Fest have become the single largest one-day event in the Town of Hoosick with two to three thousand visitors that day. It is also the best day of year for local for local bars, Restaurants and Shops.
